This research is based on the dificculties of learning Arabic students have in the learning process at the Islamic boarding school. As for the background in this study, the first grade students of KMI A Islamic boarding school AL-Mujtama’ Al Islami ati Agung Lampung south have not met the target and feel difficulty and difficulty understanding it because for them Arabic is a foreign language. What is general formulation and purpose of learning Arabic in the AL-Mutama Al Islamic boarding school is to find out the difficulaty factors experienced by students in learning Arabic in the AL-Mujtama’ Al Islamic boarding school. This study used a qualitative descriptive research method. The subejct of this study was a first – class student at the ALMujtama’ Al Islamic boarding school. This is research was conducted in the even seester on the sixth of April to thirteenth of the acadeic year of two thousand nineteen two thousand and twenty. The results showed that first, there was a lack of otivation from students in the sorrounding environment to learn Arabic. Second the teacher’s delivery is too monotonous who only uses the lecture method and the use of learning media only uses books so that students feel uninterested in learning Arabic ore deeply.
