This community service activity aimed to enhance the knowledge and productive skills of housewives by providing guidance on producing dishwashing soap concentrate, thereby helping to reduce household expenses and create home-based business opportunities. The activity took place on August 26, 2025, in Moggas Village, Kopang District, Central Lombok Regency, involving six housewives living near the Student Community Service (KKN) post of STIT Darussalimin NW Praya. A participatory approach was employed, comprising four stages: preparation, outreach/socialization, demonstration and hands-on practice, and monitoring and evaluation. Data were collected through observation, informal interviews, and documentation, then analyzed using a descriptive-qualitative method based on participants' understanding of ingredients and production procedures, practical skills, and interest in utilizing and further developing the product. The results indicate that participants gained an understanding of the functions of the ingredients and the steps involved in making the soap concentrate. Most participants were able to carry out the production process with progressively less assistance. Participants also noted the product's potential for meeting household needs and expressed interest in developing these skills to generate additional income. However, the activity did not measure the specific cost savings or income generated by the participants. Therefore, follow-up support is needed, particularly regarding packaging, production cost calculations, pricing, and marketing. This activity demonstrates that practice-based training can serve as an initial step toward strengthening productive skills and empowering household economies.
