The 32nd Musabaqah Tilawatil Qur’an and Hadith (MTQH) at the Kopang sub-district level was held in 2026 with Aik Bual Village as host, spread across seven venues (majelis) far from one another. This spread required far more operational labor than the core village committee could supply. This article describes how students of the Community Service Program (KKN) of STIT Darussalimin NW Praya filled that gap, identified the obstacles they met, and weighed the effect of their involvement on the smooth running of the event. The study applied Participatory Action Research (PAR) using participant observation, interviews, documentation, and daily field notes. Source triangulation safeguarded data validity, and the analysis was descriptive-qualitative. Five forms of contribution emerged: a choir at the opening night, stage and facility preparation, venue duty, preparation of certificates and trophies, and refreshment duty for the panel of judges. Together they supported punctual schedules, orderly venues, careful award administration, and the stamina of the judges, while also training students’ soft skills. The main obstacles were distance between venues, limited personnel, unpredictable weather, and overlapping KKN agendas. The small-group-per-venue model led by a field coordinator can serve as a reference for future MTQH events and thematic religious KKN programs.
